Three New Grainline Studio Patterns
Back in Summer we took delivery of Jen from Grainline Studio's first round of printed sewing patterns with the Alder, Archer and Scout designs. These were then followed by the Linden Sweatshirt, and now three brand spanking new styles in print. There will be many of you that are eagerly awaiting these... I wonder which of the three is grabbing you most?
First off we have the Cascade Duffle Coat which is a classic style with some great additions. The coat has a hidden zip which keeps you snug (a draught proof coat is essential in this country, particularly for us in East Anglia with the bitter Fen wind!) and options for a cropped length and hood or collar. Jen has got a sewalong going on for the Cascade right now... such a useful resource.
Then we have the Tiny Pocket Tank. This is a super summer top, or one for layering up in colder weather. Imagine this in one of our super shot cottons.
And last, but by no means least, we have the Portside Travel Set - my personal favourite. This consists of three bags: a really useful duffle bag, great for weekends away or the gym, and two smaller zip pouches, for the important and useful little things. I love the way the three bags really work as a set, and you could have great fun with feature fabrics.
