Backstitch: We Grandly Open the Burwash Shop

6

Ten days ago I picked up the keys for the first Backstitch premises and since then it has been non stop painting and lugging, cutting and folding, unpacking and rearranging.  Not to mention a good two days of wrangling with my darstedly IT system and a children's birthday party thrown in for good measure.  But, tomorrow I will be taking down the paper at the windows and gingerly opening the door of Backstitch Bricks & Mortar. Nothing has a price on it, there is much that is not on the system properly yet, but I am going to give it a go... welcoming customers in through the doors.

We have a Grand Opening Day planned for Saturday 15th March when there will be a little more fanfare, and I may (or may not) have even worked out how to use the till.  We are also offering 10% off all stock over the opening weekend if you bring along a print out of the flyer that is the image in this blog post.

Be gentle with me and wish me luck... cause I'm sure gonna need it!!

Good luck! It's a 90 mile drive for me so I'm not sure if I will be visiting on Saturday or not, I kinda want to :D

Good luck with the opening. Not sure if I'll make it up to the opening day, but will definitely be popping up at some point soon.

I just moved to Cambridge and have been so sad that there is not a lot for those who sew. And now I have discovered your store is opening!! I am very excited and will try to come on your opening day (if I am not too busy putting together all the new furniture for my sewing room!).
Congratulations and good luck for your new venture!!

Welcome Alice, really need a fabric store in the area and wish you all the very best with your venture. Will be in to visit when we get back to Cambridge at the end of April.
