We are not just online!  Come and visit us in our real life bricks and mortar shop.  We have a wonderful shop full to the brim with stitchy goodness. Browse our range of fabric, yarn & sewing and knitting haberdashery. We also run an ever evolving range of sewing, knitting and stitching classes from our dedicated studio space in the shop. The shop is at Burwash Manor in Barton, Cambridgeshire.  Burwash is a collection of 13 independent retail businesses, and a cafe, in a range of old farm buildings.  It is a gorgeous country setting and there is masses of free parking.  We are open seven days a week for fabric stroking and yarn squishing therapy, and run all sorts of workshops and classes.  Find us here. Backstitch // Burwash Manor // New Road // Barton // Cambridge // CB23 7EY // 01223 778118 Normal Opening Hours:  Mon - Sat: 10am - 5pm, Sun: 11am - 5pm, Bank Holidays: 11am – 4pm, Easter Day: Closed A note about accessibilty: Our site is not the most friendly for wheelchairs as we are in old farm buildings set around a rather 'rustic' courtyard!  We have plentiful free parking, but unless you are lucky to get a spot right outside the shop (there are a few) then it is a couple of hundred metres on foot.  And, much of the road surface is uneven and/or gravelled.  We have a step up into our shop, but the entrance is wide and we do have a ramp available, and an accessible door bell to alert our attention.  Once inside the shop, there is a good amount of room to navigate with a wheelchair.  If you have further questions please do call us.   [gallery size="large" columns="2" link="none" ids="1956,1955,1954,1953,1952,1951,1950,1958" orderby="rand"]     Save Save Save Save Save Save Save Save
