Intro to Hand Embroidery

Class Length: 3 hours.

Do you know your lazy daisy from your chain stitch?  Spend a relaxing few hours working at your own pace to learn a variety of stitches.

On the day of your class please make sure you leave time after your morning class, or before your afternoon class to browse our shop. Class attendees get 10% of purchases* in the shop on the day of their class. *Excludes Gift Vouchers, Sewing Machines & Classes

All our classes are non-refundable and non-transferable. We urge you to carefully check your diary prior to booking to ensure that you can attend. We also need three students enrolled on the class otherwise it is subject to cancellation. By purchasing this class you are agreeing to our full class policy.

Class Materials and Equipment
Materials are not included in the price. Please see list of materials below. It is your responsibility to prepare your materials so that you are ready to learn when the class starts. You may want to come into the shop in the days before the class and our staff will help you get together everything that you will need. Please be aware that you may not wish to purchase class materials until the minimum class number of three students has been reached.

Fabric: A piece of base fabric to work on: around 50 x 50cm.  Our linen cotton blends work really well.

Thread: A selection of stranded embroidery cotton. We recommend between 2 and 4 skeins in coordinating colours, 4 shades of the same also colour works well.

Haberdashery: Embroidery hoop, embroidery needle, scissors, and a notebook and pen.
