•    The pattern includes two variations: A pencil skirt and a flowy chiffon skirt
•    Both styles are high-waisted and lined, with invisible zipper at the back
•    The pencil skirt has flattering topstitched seams and two slits at the back
•    The flow skirt has a pencil skirt underneath, and a pleated chiffon skirt on top. Only one slit at the center back.
•    Choose a slightly stretchy (10-15%) fabric for the pencil skirt and the underskirt of the flow skirt. Such as cotton sateen or stretch denim. Choose a stretch lining as well. Pick a very light and drapey chiffon for the pleated top layer of the flow skirt.

The pattern package includes the pattern sheet and an instructions booklet. Patterns need to be traced to a separate pattern paper before cutting. The instructions booklet includes illustrated sewing instructions, material consumption chart and finished measurements.

    • Named is a Finnish DIY fashion label that produces patterns for fashion clothing. Named garments are a combination of Scandinavian clean-lined simplicity and interesting details. The aim of the collections is to bring a new perspective to making one’s own clothes and to support ethical and ecological consuming in contrast to a clothing industry focused on fast fashion. Named releases two main collections a year. The patterns have five levels of difficulty, which allows anyone from a beginner to a more experienced sewer to find patterns suited to their skill level. Patterns come with a comprehensive instructions booklet that includes for example detailed and illustrated sewing instructions, cutting layout, material consumption chart and finished measurements for all sizes. The patterns and instructions are designed and printed in Helsinki, Finland.
