The Liberty Lifestyle collection is a new range of Liberty Print fabrics which are suitable for crafting, patchwork and all sewing projects. The first collection ‘Bloomsbury Gardens’.

Bloomsbury Gardens is a collection inspired by the historic district in London. This beautiful area is notable for its array of garden squares and historic architecture, and also has a rich cultural history. It is home to the British Museum, the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts and the University of London. The area also gave its name to the Bloomsbury Group of artists who met in private homes in the early 1900s.

The designs have been put together with this eclectic mix in mind and they are primarily inspired by the beautiful squares with their abundance of plants and flowers. Other design and colour inspiration has come from trips to the British Museum and also from looking at the beautiful interiors of Charleston, the home of Duncan Grant and Vanessa Bell and meeting places of the artists, writers and intellectuals of the Bloomsbury Group.

We have a minimum cut of 0.25 metres for patterned fabric. If you order just 0.25 metres of a fabric this will be cut as a fat quarter. If you would prefer a long quarter, please let us know in the notes section at checkout. Multiple metres of fabric will be sent to you in one continuous piece. What is a fat quarter?
