Have you seen the magnificent, regal new Spring Summer collection from Named patterns yet? The Named Patterns Royals collection takes its inspiration from the 18th century monarchy, and the garments are simplified interpretations of the rich and decorative Rococo fashion of that time. The collection combines modern elements with Rococo romantic silhouettes and generous embellishments, such as bows, frills, voluminous skirts with foreparts, corsets and rectangular necklines. There are eight beautiful new patterns in the Royals collection: Marie Gathered Midi Dress and Blouse: A two-in-one pattern for both a gather-waist midi dress and a loose-fitting boho blouse. Both variations have a wide neckline gathered with an elastic, raglan cut and gathers at the elbows. The dress has a frill panel at the hemline, and gathers at the sleeve openings, while the blouse has fluted sleeves and a narrow tie at the waist. The dress would be beautiful in a fabric with a lovely drape, such as our bird print cotton voile. Grace Corset Top: A cropped and semi-fitted top with an interesting corset-inspired cut with flat felled seams, wide tie-up shoulder straps and a sweetheart neckline. We recommend making it up in a cotton chambray. They would be so cool in a stonewashed linen. This pattern has been so popular it has already run out! But don't worry, more are on their way. To register when the Eleonora skirt patterns are back in stock, please enter your e-mail address into the box here. The skirt would be beautiful in a glossy cotton pique, for example a soft blue with printed white polka dot. Paola Turtleneck Tee: A classic, semi-fitted roll neck T-shirt with long sleeves. This would be cosy made up in a soft striped viscose jersey.
