I've just finished knitting this lovely baby cardigan.  I have been knitting it for my good friends who at this very moment are experiencing life changing events in a maternity unit somewhere in Oxfordshire.  The pattern is the Posy Baby Cardigan by Judi Hurst who is our knitting tutor here at Backstitch, and the yarn is the classic Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino in colour 91 Acid Yellow which is such a sunny colour - yellow with a slightly green hue. 2016-06-17 13.54.55-1 (1024x682)It's been a while since I last knitted anything for a very small person and it is such fun.  Everyone is happy to see you knitting a little yellow cardigan.  My knitting projects get carted about from place to place and it's on the sidelines of football, cricket or swimming where I get much of my progress made, and I have had many happy responses from friends and strangers to my yellow cardigan! The joy of this cardigan is that it is knitted in one piece, so there is no pesky making up.  It is also dead easy.  I finished the cardigan off with six purple ducky buttons. You can in fact learn how to knit this cardigan (which goes up to size 24m) in our two part class in the shop.  See here for dates and booking. Project Details:
